CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER
"Don't let it consume you."
The best advice I've ever received is to focus on connection before intervention. When people feel truly safe and understood, the work becomes something different entirely, more meaningful, more effective, and more real. That belief guides everything I do.
What inspires me most is watching young people begin to understand themselves in a new way. When a child finally feels safe enough to open up, or starts to put words to something they've been carrying quietly, that's everything! Witnessing that kind of growth is very rewarding.
I work best with children and adolescents who feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or who are unsure how to express what they're going through. Whether they're navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, or emotions that feel too big to manage, I create a space where they can open up at their own pace. My goal isn't just to help them cope, it's to help them feel more in control, more confident, and more equipped to handle what life throws at them.
People tell me I'm easy to connect with, attentive, and deeply attuned, and that relational trust is something I don't take for granted. Even early in my career, clients have shared that they feel understood in ways they haven't experienced before, and that means the world to me.
When I'm not in session, you'll find me gardening, playing pickleball, cooking, or finding any excuse to be outside. I also geek out over books, music, anime, and hockey, Go Griffins!
If your child is ready to be heard and understood, I'd be honored to support them.
